Our solution was designed to address the client’s need for a unified, efficient system to manage various types of schedules. We developed a comprehensive Calendar Dashboard that integrates three key components: team availability, general leave management (vacation and sick leave), and healthcare scheduling. By centralizing these functionalities into one platform, we created a seamless experience for both employees and managers.
The client faced significant challenges in managing multiple schedules across different teams and departments. Existing systems were disjointed, making it difficult to track employee availability, manage leave requests, and ensure smooth coordination. The lack of integration between scheduling tools led to inefficiencies, missed deadlines, and confusion around resource allocation.
The goal was to streamline the process, improve visibility, and create a seamless experience for both employees and managers.
We began by conducting research to understand the unique scheduling needs of the team and the challenges they faced with existing systems. Based on our findings, we first developed the Standard Calendar, which allowed employees to request vacation or sick leave and view the schedules of their colleagues. This provided a simple solution for managing time off and ensuring visibility across the team.

After completing the Standard Calendar, we developed specialized solutions for Sprint and Medical Scheduling to address more complex needs. These features enhanced project timeline management, team availability, and healthcare schedules, offering a more streamlined approach. The Sprint Calendar improved project planning, while the Medical Scheduling solution better managed shifts and medical leave for the team.
The new Calendar Dashboard streamlined scheduling, improving team coordination and visibility. Centralizing leave requests, sprint planning, and medical shifts increased efficiency and transparency. The client now enjoys a user-friendly platform that reduces administrative workload and boosts productivity.
